Updates since the preparation of the Officer’s report were circulated to the Committee as set out on the attached sheet.
Prior to considering the officers recommendation, it was proposed and seconded that the requirement to complete the affordable housing element should be within 12 months and not 2 years, as contained in paragraph (i) of the recommendation. On being put to the vote, 9 Councillors voted in favour, with none against and 1 abstention.
Having considered the application and the representations made at the meeting, the Committee, by 8 votes to 2 vote, supported the revised recommendation and
RESOLVED:
That, subject to a superseded deed to the legal agreement requiring the completion of the affordable housing:
a) within 12 months of commencement; and b) before occupation of 30% of the open market dwellings (i.e. 6 units),
Planning Application 11/02072/FUL be GRANTED in accordance with the decision taken under Minute 428 (2011/12). |
